Economists have managed to allocate the major factors resulting people in Russia, Brazil and China to the decision to begin own business. It has appeared, that these factors can be broken into three groups: psychological, social and external. And no of them can be dismissed.
What forces people to become businessmen? Before recent time the answer to this question could be found only in works of sociologists and psychologists. «The economic science practically knew nothing about motivation of businessmen», — Ekaterina Zhuravskaja, the supervisor of studies of the Center of economic and financial researches and workings out (ЦЭФИР) speaks. Sociologists asserted, that the decision to become the businessman the environment and environment, and psychologists — that predetermines all business in personal qualities of people. «We have tried to look at this problem eyes of economists», — speaks Zhuravsky.

The second group — individual characteristics of businessmen. It was found out, that on the personal qualities businessmen considerably differ from not businessmen. At them absolutely other system of values. As a rule, businessmen are more optimistical and much more seriously concern work, has noted Zhuravsky. But, perhaps, the main distinctive line at all in it. In businessmen in comparison with other people the spirit of competitiveness is much more strongly developed. For many of them employment by business is original sports. And as well as in each kind of sports, the overall objective — to type it is as much as possible points. In Russia and China as such points money, as a rule, acts. Even if the heap of money will fall down such person, it will not stop to be engaged in business. The third group of factors is connected with a business climate in region. «Initially we assumed, that this third group will make solving impact. But there was, that it not so», — speaks Zhuravsky.
The Russian businessmen tell, that created the companies not thanks to external conditions, and companies "Gourmets" are faster contrary to of Ruslan Pashkov, the owner food, has opened the business after he was deceived by the chief. «I have understood, that it is better to be independent of other people and to take responsibility in hand», — he tells. Their main quality — boldness: only daredevils could in 90 dare to open the business. Besides, the Russian businessmen should possess attention, excellent reaction, be able to absorb all new, he marks.
Andrey Knyazev, the president and the owner of Bar «Knyazev and partners», always wished to earn many money. The people, inclined to feel unfortunate, or never become businessmen, or appear unsuccessful, she marks.

The inquiry
Research of motivation of businessmen was spent to 2003-2004 to Russia, in 2004-2005 in China and in 2005 in Brazil. In each country inhabitants of seven large and average cities from four regions have been interrogated. In each of the countries researchers have asked to fill questionnaires of 400 businessmen and 550 not businessmen. Researchers have carried the people owning a share in business and accepting active participation in management by it to number of businessmen. Not as businessmen considered all those who does not work in own business.
